【Composition and Performance】
This product is made from porous bioceramic artificial bone particles (pure β-TCP) and collagen extracted from bovine tendons. The ratio of TCP to collagen is not less than 90%. It is easy to handle in surgical implantation and can be squeezed and shaped to fill any irregular bone defect space. It can also be cut into desired shapes or mixed with physiological saline, blood, PRP, or bone marrow before implantation into bone defects. The porous bioceramic has a well-connected porous structure with a total porosity of 70% ± 10% and an open porosity rate greater than 50%. Its well-connected porous structure provides conditions for new bone formation through osteoconduction. The HA component degrades within 6–24 months after implantation, releasing calcium and phosphate ions as components for bone regeneration during degradation. The collagen component has a hemostatic effect when implanted into bone defects and gradually degrades within 2 months, which is beneficial for new bone formation.
【Indications for Use】
- For filling bone defects in extraction sockets, periodontal bone defects, maxillary sinus grafting, and alveolar bone augmentation.
- For filling bone defects in non-weight-bearing bones of limbs, spine, pelvis, and skull.
- Can be mixed with the blood, bone marrow, or PRP to promote new bone formation.
- The collagen component has a hemostatic effect.
