Porous artificial bone cement (PABC)

【Composition and Performance】

Synthesized from porous artificial bone and CPC, with porous artificial bone accounting for 70% of the volume. When in use, add a 1:1 solid-liquid ratio and mix thoroughly (within 1 minute) to form a moldable bone cement. Load it into a syringe and inject it into the bone defect area within 7 minutes, or directly fill it into the bone defect area. After 30 minutes, it solidifies into a solid with a mechanical strength of 15-20 Mpa. Mud-like structure is good for handling during surgery and can be shaped to fill any irregular bone defect space, allowing for minimally invasive and precise bone grafting. Porous artificial bone has a multi-level connected pore structure, with a total porosity of 70% ± 10% and an open porosity greater than 50%. Its excellent multi-level connected pore structure provides conditions for the formation of new bone, which is formed through bone conduction. CPC provides pores after 1-3 months of degradation for osteoconduction of porous artificial bone. Porous artificial bone degrades 6-24 months after implantation, releasing calcium and phosphate ions as raw materials for bone regeneration.

 

【Indications for Use】

For filling bone defects caused by tumors or trauma, and bone grafting in spinal and joint fusion surgeries. Particularly suitable for minimally invasive and precise bone grafting.
